The world in 360° panorama
The DJI Osmo has a unique ‘Automatic Panorama’ mode. This mode makes taking beautiful panorama images easier than ever. Activating this ‘Automatic Panorama’ is as easy as holding the camera above your head and pressing the shutter button. The camera will automatically make a full rotation and will remain at the same height while taking the picture. This prevents distortions in your panoramic images, and provides a perfectly smooth result.

Automatic Panorama Shutter Time
The shutter time is kept to an absolute minimum, allowing you to capture every moment. The DJI Osmo allows you to capture anything around you, at any time. Therefore the DJI Osmo is also perfectly suitable for amazing time lapses or accelerated exposures using a hyperlapse. Photos and video are easy to record and remain smooth, even without a tripod.

Taking Pictures Without Tripod
Without a tripod, it is virtually impossible to take images that are completely still. The DJI Osmo comes equipped with an advanced stabilisation mechanism which allows your camera to remain perfectly still for up to 2 seconds. As you become more experienced with the DJI Osmo, the camera can remain still for longer periods of time. This makes night photography much sharper and allows you to more easily replace the background of your images.

Advanced Stabilisation
DJI has proven to be an innovator in camera technology. The advanced stabilisation mechanism contains 3 axial gimbals, fully integrated into the system, which can counteract movement. Having trouble with shaking hands? No problem, the DJI Osmo will allow you to always take stable images. For the first time, this technology has been adapted for use in hand cameras.

Firm Grip
The Osmo’s grip has been manufactured with materials selected specifically for their comfort and durability. The ergonomic design of the camera and its firm grip allow you to maintain full control over the device at all times. User friendly buttons have been placed in smart locations, aiding you in controlling your camera. Important functionality can be set to be within a thumb’s reach. The DJI Osmo also comes with a special phone dock, in which your phone can be placed and can function as interface for your recording modes.

Excellent Image Quality
The Osmo’s Zenmuse X3 camera is in perfect synergy with the stabilisation mechanism. This 4k resolution camera can record at 24,25 or 30 frames per second. The resolution of these images allows them to be displayed on large screens without loss of quality. Photos are taken in 12 megapixel resolution in Adobe DNG Raw. The DJI Osmo is compatible with all new Zenmuse X5 series cameras, so that the advantages of a large M4/3 sensor are maintained.

Accessories
The Osmo supports a large plethora of accessories and expansions such that the camera can be used in any situation. For better stabilisation or remote control, you can choose to use a tripod. Alternatively, the Bike Mount allows you to capture images with the Osmo from different perspectives during a mountain bike tour.

SLEEP MODE

The DJI Osmo also comes with a sleep mode. When the camera has detected no use for a predetermined period of time, it will automatically switch to sleep mode. This sleep function not only extends battery life, but also preserves the integrated electronics. When you wish to use the Osmo again, it is ready for use again in an instant.

Sound Quality
The DJI Osmo is equipped with an integrated DJI FM-15 Flexi microphone to record audio. With audio gain settings, you can be sure to not only capture sharp images, but also sound.

Camera

4K Image quality and more
Image quality is essential for a camera. The new 9 layered lens can take clear and sharp images everywhere. This linear camera allows for a wide angle without the distortions that regularly occur in cameras of this size. This powerful and lightweight design is combined into a camera that can record video at 4k p30 or 1080 p60 or take clear 12 megapixel images.

Advanced Gimbals
The development of gimbals technology, to hold the camera stable while in the air for longer periods of time, has always been a core business for DJI. This expertise resulted in the creation of the X3 and its gimbals, allowing for a completely stable hand-held camera. The 3-axial gimbals absorb the motions of the Osmo, correcting for human movement. A network of sensors and advanced algorithms keep the camera perfectly still, regardless of external movement. This level of precision is only possible with the fast and unique custom processor from DJI. This processor controls the engines in the three axes yaw, tilt and roll.
