Maintenance & Repair
Keeping or getting your Drone in optimal condition.
Every drone needs maintenance to ensure airworthiness. Our maintenance team has been experienced in drone maintenance since 1997. At DroneStars, preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out on drones we sell and lease, based on EASA part-145 guidelines.
We maintain the following drones:
- DJI Inspire 1 and 2
- DJI Matrice 100
- DJI Matrice 200/210/210 RTK (v1 and v2)
- DJI Matrice 300
- DJI Matrice 600 and Pro

DJI Mavic 2 (3) Enterprise versions
- DJI Phantom 4 (RTK)
Repairs
- We are certified by DJI to perform maintenance
- • Your drone (or part of it) is thoroughly examined, and repair costs are determined. You will receive a quote for this.
- The examination costs €50 (excluding VAT) which is waived if the repair is carried out by DroneStars.
- • The repair rate is €80 per hour excl. VAT and excl. the parts
- We only use official OEM parts for replacements
- Repair duration depends on the defect and necessary spare parts
- You can submit a maintenance request via the contact form. Mention "Maintenance/repair" as the subject.
Shipping or Bringing Your Drone:
- You can ship or bring your drone (or part of it) to our location in Hoofddorp/Schagen after we process your maintenance request
- Do not send defective batteries, SD cards, or other accessories.
- Registered packages are not accepted
Maintenance Contract
When purchasing or leasing your drone, you can sign a maintenance contract.
This offers many benefits such as:
- Maintenance check-up every 50 flight hours according to the DroneStars maintenance plan
- Free replacement drone (of the same type or better, depending on availability) within 48 hours
- Only replaced parts are charged for repairs, not the labour hours
